Burnham Grammar School students are looking into the recent Dispersal Order set up in Burnham which gives police the power to break up groups of youths of 2 or more and move them on from the area.  Anyone not complying can be arrested and charged with a public order offence. 

Burnham is a leafy little village in Buckinghamshire bordering Slough.  There has been some incidents of vandalism and theft in the area in recent times but it remains a very desirable place to live and work.  Many people are surprised by the need for a Dispersal Order at all.

BGS students wanted to find out local reaction to the Order as well as how it was affecting young people in the area.
